JAMES A. GIOIA, CPA

James Gioia, the President and Owner of James Gioia & Company, has practiced public accounting since 1981. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Business in 1981. He spent the first ten years of his career with a large, national public accounting firm; working in the cities of Houston, San Francisco, and Chicago. He wrote seminars and taught other CPAs in tax and accounting subjects, while at the same time providing tax and accounting services for large corporations and some well known celebrities and athletes.

Determined to provide the same level of service to smaller businesses and individuals, Mr. Gioia brought his knowledge and expertise to the Chicago suburb of Crystal Lake in late 1990. Mr. Gioia has endeavored to develop the firm into a quick, responsive provider of sage tax and accounting advice. His emphasis on planning has helped a wide variety of businesses and individuals take a proactive approach toward saving taxes and managing their businesses profitably.
